Defects & maintenance
Appendix 7 ?Appendix 7 — the Defect and Maintenance Log Procedures Library Appendix 7 is the per-aircraft log a ReOC holder keeps: every inspection, check, defect and rectification, one row each. The planner projects it from the Defects page and the Serviced events — nothing is typed into the log itself. Its printed form opens with a header identifying the airframe (make, model, serial, previous configuration ID) and three lines on failsafe equipment, which is what this block sets: A what failsafe equipment is unserviceable, B why, and how that was confirmed, C the precautions or limitations for operating with it. Leave it at No unless something is actually unserviceable. The other appendices: 1 the Operational Release, 5 the JSA, 6 the Time in Service Log.Procedures Library v1.3, Appendix 7 · Operations Manual §2.1 Maintenance Controller
Any defect or damage becomes a record here as soon as it is noticed (§1.1.13). Rectification is signed off by the Maintenance Controller, never by the pilot who raised it.
